An unbeaten hundred from Faisal Mubashir helped Bahawalpur Stagsdraw, despite following-on, with State Bank of Pakistan. Stags were 87 for 2 overnight and trailing by 164 runs when the fourth day started. Mubashir went on from 25 to 104, his second first-class hundred, even though he was running out of partners. Left-arm spinner Kashif Bhatti took four wickets as Stags finished the day on 262 for 8 after taking a lead of 11 runs.
Earlier, State Bank opted to bat and amassed 525 runs for six wickets with centuries from Mukhtar Ahmed (144) and Naved Yasin (173). They declared on the second day after fifties from Rizwan Haider (60) and Aamer Yamin (65*). Bhatti ran through the Stags line-up with seven wickets, to finish with 11 overall, despite half-centuries from Adeel Basit (64) and Bilal Khilji (85*). Stags were made to follow-on but Mubashir's century denied State Bank a win and got them only three points.
