Zimbabwe tucked into some much needed batting stints on the third and final day of their drawn practice match against BCB XI, as Craig Ervine scored an unbeaten 85

Zimbabweans 241 (Sikandar 44, Chigumbura 39) and 201 for 5 (Ervine 85*, Sikandar 45) drew with BCB XI 297 (Shuvagata 75*, Shamsur 69, M'shanwge 4-109)

Zimbabwe tucked into some much needed batting stints on the third and final day of their drawn practice match against BCB XI. Craig Ervine was unbeaten on 85 in their second innings, after the home side was bowled out for 297.
Ervine, who hasn't played a Test match since March last year, struck 11 fours and four sixes in his 98-ball knock. Sikandar Raza made 45 off 74 balls with eight fours, his second score in the forties in the match. Hamilton Masakadza made 31 and Vusimuzi Sibanda scored 22, though neither will be completely pleased with their efforts ahead of a Test match starting in two days. For BCB XI, Seamer Dewan Sabbir took two wickets for 17 runs.
Earlier, Shuvagata Hom had been unbeaten on 75, having struck nine fours in his 176-ball innings, as BXB XI lost their last four wickets for the addition of 45 runs to their overnight total.
